You should use your skill and judgement to develop a winning strategy.
Below is the colour key used in the bidding history page to represent bids, blue
represents another players bid, your bids are highlighted in either green, orange or
red.
Please note that on real auctions you can not see the other players bids. They are shown below purely as an example of how bidding works & blue bids on real auctions will show as Other Players Bid.
Green represents the lowest unique bid, yellow represents a non winning bid. Other players bids are in white.
Using the following bids as an example:
0.34
........................................................................................................................................
0.45
........................................................................................................................................
0.50
........................................................................................................................................
0.01
........................................................................................................................................
0.10
A player has placed 2 bids: £0.10, £0.01. The £0.01 bid is green because it is the lowest unique bid and thus the current winning bid. The £0.10 bid is yellow because it is non winning bid.

What happens if the 'Reserve Price' is not met?
If the reserve price is not met the auction will be closed and all bidders will receive a refund of their credits to use on other auctions. A Reserve Price is set per item, and the item must reach this number of bids in order for someone to win the product. This Reserve is to cover some of the cost of MrsPenny purchasing the product. For example, an item that has a 'reserve' of £100, must accumulate at least 100 bids on that item before someone can win; if only 90 bids are placed on the product, then all players will receive a refund of their bids into their accounts to bid on other auctions. |
